Hi all!  We just started the second blogging and web publishing training for anti-human trafficking advocates here at the offices of The Asia Foundation, Magallanes Village, Makati.

Present right now are Rorie Fajardo of CCJD, Alladin Diega and Abba Lucido of Kanlungan, Lester Anonuevo of CATW-AP and Brian Balco of Foci.

2nd training on blogging and web publishing

Good day folks!

Newsbreak will be conducting another training on blogging and web publishing on June 11, 2009, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at The Asia Foundation Conference Room, 36 Lapulapu Ave., Magallanes Village, 1232 Makati City, Philippines.

The training aims to teach participants the basics on publishing different types of content on this blog. At the same time participants will also learn how to use and exploit latest mobile and internet tools in order to enhance their own websites towards popularizing and promoting their respective programs online.

The training is free of charge, but participants are asked to bring a wi-fi enabled laptop. Participants who own digital cameras and camera / web-enabled phones are encouraged to bring the same, for use during the training.

Slots are limited. To confirm your attendance, email gem_bagayaua@newsbreak.com.ph. You may also call Cecille or Rey at tel. no. 920-0997 or call Gemma at 514-6582. Food will be served, so please advise us if you have any dietary restrictions.

If you are unable to attend the training but are interested to participate in the blog, nevertheless, please email us.

Newsbreak to train groups involved in anti-human trafficking efforts on basic web publishing/blogging

Hi Everyone! On December 15, 2008, Monday, Newsbreak will  conduct a training on basic web publishing training for groups involved in efforts to stop human trafficking. The training seeks to facilitate the dissemination of relevant and latest information concerning human trafficking in the country and improve information sharing among partner groups.
