UNICEF Philippines is hosting the premiere of a new animated film, Red Leaves, produced by the Stairway Foundation on Tuesday, 02 June 2009, 6:00pm at the Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium, RCBC Plaza, Makati.
The film tells the story of two young girls drawn into the seedy world of
child prostitution and pornography, and how they battle to try and escape
the life they have been duped into. The animation is suitable for both
young people and adults.
During the event, you will also hear from speakers on child pornography, and of the urgent need to pass the Anti Child Pornography Act 2009, currently in the House of Representatives.
The evening will include refreshments and a showing of the award-winning Cracked Mirrors theater production.
